As a Interdisciplinary Microbiologist/Physical Scientist at the GS-0403/1301-13/14 some of your typical work assignments may include:
- Using national security strategies, defense planning guidance, and Combatant Command (CCMD) strategies and plans to support the Research and Development mission in the identification of opportunities for international cooperative counter-CBRNE science and technology (S&T) activities.
- Planning, coordinating, justifying, developing, negotiating and staffing international agreements to support DTRA's research, development, test, and evaluation (RDT&E) mission.
- Assessing other DoD and U.S. Agency international efforts to avoid duplication of effort and to promote synergy with DTRA's international goals and strategy.
- Advising DTRA program managers on foreign engagement opportunities, discovery of unique foreign S&T programs, and international engagement/agreement activity progress and issues at regular intervals.
