This Writer-Editor (Intelligence) position is located in the Production Management (PM) Branch within the Intelligence and Analysis (I & A), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS). If selected for this position, you will report to the TSA-OI Production Management Unit Chief. You will be responsible for supporting the editing, briefing, report development, production and dissemination efforts of the TSA Office of Intelligence and Analysis.
You will also serve as the resident subject matter expertise in writing and editing using your knowledge of Intelligence Enterprise (IE) Tradecraft Guidelines (i.e. ICD 203, 206, 208), Director of National Intelligence (DNI) and Controlled Access Program Coordination Office (CAPCO) style and rules in direct support of over five intelligence divisions' production programs and activities. In addition, you will serve as an advisor for all CAPCO and DNI classification issues.

The ideal candidate will possess a current Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance. In addition, the ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience with intelligence writing and editing in production cycle.
Note: Credit for experience is given based on a 40-hour work week. Part-time experience is credited on a part-time ratio, i.e., working 20 hours per week for two months' equals one month of experience. No additional credit is given for overtime. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
