Current Career/Career-Conditional Competitive Status National Park Service employee in the Midwest Region
Serves as the point of contact within the network.parks for the FMSS program. Develops and provides statistical data and reports as necessary. Based on knowledge of the system and the interrelationship with other park entities, makes recommendations of actions necessary to support the program including but not limited to asset identification and inventory including attached equipmen/features, condition assessment, cost estimating, life cycle information, and work order generation. Assists park
management in the implementation an opera??ion of all park FMSS activities, and the establishment and coordination of short and long term schedules to meet Park Asset Management Plan (PAMP) parameters. Provides guidance to park management for compliance with Director's Order #80 Real
Property Asset Management, Departmental,Asset Management Plan, and Executive Order #13327.

Physical Demands: The work is primarily sedentary. Visits to Job sites or travel to ,conferences_may be required. Occasional hiking, climbing or crawling to perform asset inspections may be required.
Working Conditions: The work is normally performed in an office setting. Travel to various site locations within the park to perform asset inspections may be required.
The National Park Service has determined that the duties of this position are suitable for telework and the selectee may be allowed to telework with supervisor approval.
