Serves as Reclamation’s liaison with the Department’s Office of Communications, and establishes and maintains effective lines of communication between Reclamation and the White House, Congress, State, Tribal and local officials, and counterparts at public and private organizations. Integration of program with Administration’s initiatives and policies. Liaison with Department’s Office of Communications. Maintain effective lines of communications with White House, Office of the Secretary, other Department bureaus and other Departments.
Serves as Chief of Public Affairs’ alter-ego. Plans day-to-day, annual, and long-term work for group and national program. Develops performance standards, mentors, trains, and evaluates work of subordinates. Responsible for budgeting of funds and allocation of resources.
