GSA has an opening for an attorney in the Office of General Counsel, Office of Regional Counsel , Greater Southwest Region, located in Fort Worth, TX. Applicants must possess at least three to four (3-4) years of experience as a practicing attorney, acquired after being admitted to the Bar, with specialized experience and/or familiarity with real estate litigation activities, government contracts, and real estate. The promotion potential for the GS-13 position is at the GS-13 level and the promotion potential for the GS-14 position is at the GS-14 level.
Location of Position: Office of General Counsel (OGC), Office of Regional Counsel, Greater Southwest Region, Fort Worth, TX
The GSA Office of General Counsel, Greater Southwest Division is responsible for providing legal assistance and guidance for regional associates in all areas, including procurement, contract administration, litigation, leasing, disposal, ethics and personnel. Assignments involve complex and difficult legal issues requiring extensive research, analysis and evaluation in controversial areas.

MAJOR DUTIES:
GS-13 Duties:
If selected, you must meet the following conditions:
1. Successful completion of a full course of study in a school of law accredited by the American Bar Association and possession of at least the initial professional law degree (J.D.); AND
2. Bar Membership: You must be an active member of the Bar and in good standing of a Bar in a state, territory of the United States, District of Columbia, or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico

Relocation-related expenses are not approved and will be your responsibility.
Travel expenses associated with interviews maybeapproved. Determinations will be made on a case-by-case basis.
