The Office of Research Services (ORS), Office of Scientific Resources, a component of the National Institutes of Health's (NIH) Office of the Director (OD), is seeking exceptional candidates for the position of Director, Division of Veterinary Resources (DVR), in Bethesda, MD. DVR is one of the largest animal care and use programs in the Federal government and in the United States. The mission of the DVR is to contribute to the advancement of NIH biomedical research by providing excellence in animal care and specialized research services to support the NIH intramural research mission. The services provided include comprehensive clinical veterinary medicine and animal husbandry, veterinary pathology and microbiology, veterinary surgery and animal imaging, pharmacy, animal behavior, intensive care, nutrition, and a variety of other specialized veterinary services to support the NIH intramural biomedical research community.
