As a Exercise Planner (CWMD) you will be responsible for the following duties:
· Directs a highly complex, comprehensive program involving exercise support to, including inclusion of Subject Matter Experts, and the training of Combatant Commands (CCMDs), Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), crisis response forces and other designated commands in developing responses to CWMD-Terrorism (CWMD-T).
· Prepare and advise in the scenario planning, Master Scenario Event List Injects, Intelligence build-up and logistical preparations for the operational and tactical portions of exercises, testing, studies or evaluations.
· Serves as a CWMD-T exercise and training expert in accomplishing a broad range of activities impacting DTRA development of plans, strategy, doctrine, programs, policies, procedures, and capabilities related to the CWMD-T military missions and national security strategies.
· Experience as subject matter specialist on CWMD-T, provides responsive, interdisciplinary and analytical capability involving broad, undefined and complex issues of either a special or recurring nature.
· Knowledge and experience with Joint Staff and Office of the Secretary of Defense processes and organization in order to participate in the planning and coordination of theater sponsored WMD training.
· Provide Specific expertise and emphasis include the following: Special Operations Tactics Techniques and Procedures (TTPs), crisis response processes, Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosives (CBRNE) forces and capabilities and CWMD-T threats.
· Experience and specific knowledge of infiltration, surveillance, target interdiction, breaching, and air operations.
· Knowledge of and skill to interpret varied, complex and conflicting data and then draw sound conclusions and make recommendations.
· Prepares, analyzes, and compiles results of After Actions Reviews (AAR) and incorporates into lessons learned for future exercises, studies and testing.
· Identifies key variables or factors; develops practical and innovative solutions based upon knowledge of the Agency's, Directorate's and Departments long and short term goals; and implements the appropriate course-of-action.
· Participates in planning, coordinating and participating in OSD-directed, Joint Chief of Staff (JCS) and theater sponsored WMD contingency and crisis response exercises and training events.
