As an Industry Economist, you will:
This is an Excepted Service position. Appointments made under the Presidential Management Fellows program are provisional in nature and conversion is not guaranteed.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Economist Series, 0110 - Basic Requirements:
Degree: in economics, that included at least 21 semester hours in economics and 3 semester hours in statistics, accounting, or calculus.
OR
Combination of education and experience: courses equivalent to a major in economics, as shown above, plus appropriate experience or additional education.
Operations Research Series, 1515 - Basic Requirements:
Degree: in operations research; or at least 24 semester hours in a combination of operations research, mathematics, probability, statistics, mathematical logic, science, or subject-matter courses requiring substantial competence in college-level mathematics or statistics. At least 3 of the 24 semester hours must have been in calculus.
