THIS IS AN EXPEDITED HIRING AUTHORITY ANNOUNCEMENT. The Duncan Hunter National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) FY 2009 provides that the Secretary of Defense can designate acquisition positions as shortage positions and recruit and appoint highly qualified persons to these positions. Based on the
various locations of this announcement, vacancies can be filled as
GS-09/11/12/13 or DP-03/04 pay band (equivalent to GS-09/11, GS12/13). The
positions have promotion potential to GS-12 or DP-04 (equivalent to GS-12/13).

Basic Requirement: Bachelor's degree in
computer science or a Bachelor's degree with 30 semester hours in a combination
of mathematics, statistics, and computer science. (At least 15 of the 30

institution.)
GS-09 In addition to the Basic Requirement your resume must demonstrate at least one or more years of specialized experience that has provided the knowledge, skills ability to perform at the GS-09 level.
