Basic Requirements:
For the GS-03 level: Completion of one academic year of post-high school study.
For the GS-04 level: Completion of two academic years of post-high school study or associate's degree.
** The required education must lead to an undergraduate degree in Accounting or a related field (accounting, auditing, business administration, economics, finance, or public administration) with a total of 24 or more semester hours in Accounting including up to 6 semester hours in Business Law.
Background Investigation: All selectees will be subject to a personnel security investigation which must be favorably adjudicated for occupancy of a sensitive position and/or access to classified information. If you are selected for a critical/special sensitive position, you will be subject to a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI). You must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance eligibility at the Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) level. You will be subject to a random counterintelligence scope polygraph.
Drug Testing: If you are given access to classified information, you will be subject to random drug testing.
