The Cloud Architect is a subject matter expert with the technical accountability to govern, configure, and assist the Judiciary leverage third-party national cloud-based software-as-a-service platforms. This role is critical in supporting the adoption of a cloud-based environment by the courts and the AO.

The Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts (AO), Systems Development and Support Office (SDSO), Cloud Application Division (CAD) is seeking an Information Technology Specialist (Cloud Architect).
The ideal candidate has a broad range of skills, including development expertise in multiple languages and platforms, experience architecting solutions utilizing software-as-a-service applications, and experience in DevOps or DevSecOps in Gitlab or similar tools. The ideal candidate also has exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, for a widely experienced user base. As the AO matures in its cloud implementation, CAD will rely heavily on the incumbent for their expertise and guidance. The incumbent will also work on projects that are highly visible and important.
