Duties

Help
  • Implements systems security plans, policies and preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Using systems diagnostic tools and fault identification techniques, runs tests to verify operability and functionality.
  • Performs assignments using standard principles, theories, concepts and methods for systems administration and systems engineering.
  • Provides ongoing optimization and problem solving support to minimize interruptions in customers' ability to carry out critical business activities.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
Experience, education and/or specialized training sufficient to demonstrate knowledge and skill in:

  • Principles and methods for integrating information systems components.
  • Performance tuning tools and techniques.
  • System diagnostic tool and fault identification techniques.
  • Systems administration methods; and-IT security principles.
Highly Preferred Qualification
  • Experience with MWR Systems such as RecTrac/CYMS
  • Knowledge of Point of Sales (POS), Swipes, and VLAN connectivity
  • Current or prior experience working in a government IT environment or similar organizations
