IDEAL CANDIDATE STATEMENT: The ideal candidate would be customer service oriented, have significant experience in management controls in an agency A-123 compliance program, agency Budget formulation and execution, producing or auditing agency financial statements, agency travel program operation and support, agency accounting operations and financial reporting and would also have experience in or exposure to Federal agency strategic planning and performance measurement and all other functions in the full scope of an agency CFO's responsibility.
As a Deputy Chief Financial Officer, GS-0505-15, you will perform the following major duties:
Directly supports the Chief Financial Officer in overseeing and managing all CFO functions.
Ensures timely, effective Budget submissions and efficient, effective Budget execution for the agency.
Ensures timely, accurate financial reporting including the agency audited Financial Statements and annual Performance and Accountability Report.
Ensures agency financial and budget operations are customer focused and are effective, efficient, and fully compliant with all applicable regulations and law.
Maintains a robust Management Accountability and Control Program in compliance with the Federal Managers Financial Integrity Act and OMB Circular A-123 and other applicable laws and regulations.
