The purpose of this position is to function as the logistics manager of the organization and to serve as the organizational Property Book Officer (PBO) responsible for routine accomplishment and oversight of property accountability functions.

Develops, implements and evaluates the logistics and property accountability policies for the organization. Is the primary advisor for the command in the area of logistics and property book operations. Responsible for the property book operations of the organization in the areas of inventory management, storage management, equipment coordination and supply management. Ensures the property book sections periodically perform asset visibility rebuild to validate date in the visibility files. Ensures compliance with the command supply discipline program (CSDP), command maintenance discipline program, and other-directed command inspection programs. Establishes quality procedures and oversees the edit of all property management source documentation. Supervises subordinates performing supply work. Provides technical guidance and assistance to all organizational logistic personnel individuals pertaining to the accountability of all property assigned to the organization.

RECENT GRADUATE PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY:
*Applicants must have obtained a qualifying associates, bachelors, master's, professional, doctorate, vocational or technical degree or certificate from a qualifying educational institution, within the previous 2 years unless military service interfered with a veterans eligibility to apply during that two year time frame. Veterans meeting the above exclusion may apply within 2 years of discharge or 6 years from the date of receipt of the degree whichever comes first.
This is designed to introduce candidates to the Logistics field for the Colorado National Guard.
The initial appointment is in a temporary status (NTE 1 year). Successful completion of this initial appointment may result in a non-competitive conversion to either a Term or Permanent appointment.
Recent Graduates will enter a formal training program with a mentor (assigned within 90 days of appointment) and an Individual Development Plan, executed within 45 days of the appointment, outlining training requirements and program expectations.
Recent Graduates must receive at least 40 hours of formal training directly linked to their employment field.
Recent graduates serve a trial period for the duration of their excepted service appointment.
Recent graduates will be required to sign a Pathways Recent Graduate Participant Agreement.
