Specialized Experience: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled such as: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes: (1) Analyzing various financial documents to develop and recommend effective solutions; AND (2) Providing financial reports that show an organization's position on a variety of labor related conditions; AND (3) Utilizing corrective actions to resolve anomalies that affect timekeeping, payroll, and labor accounting; AND (4) Performing comprehensive customer service and interpreting financial management regulations.
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
