As an Attorney-Advisor at the GS-0905-14/15, you will be part of the Office of Vice Chair Samuels, EEOC. If selected, you will be responsible for advising the Vice Chair on policy and legal matters, assisting the Vice Chair in effectively discharging the legal activities of the office, and performing a variety of confidential assignments and duties.
The selectee will be required to have a duty station at Headquarters or one of the 53 EEOC Field Offices. Headquarters duty station is preferred.

Locality pay will vary based upon the selectee's duty location. A final salary determination will be made upon selection.

In the event the Vice Chair resigns before the expiration of her appointment, your detail/temporary promotion will expire on the same day. At the end of this detail/temporary promotion, you will be returned to your permanent position. This type of appointment does not have promotion potential and will not be converted to a permanent position.
Based on specialized legal experience, a working title may be assigned for the position at the Vice Chair's discretion.
