This position is located in the Division of Complex Institution Supervision and Resolution (CISR), Risk and Internal Controls Section, and serves as a principal advisor and technical expert in conducting a variety of duties to ensure that the Division's strategic planning, corporate performance and reporting, and day-to-day operations are in accordance with established corporate goals.

Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS/CG-13 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as: experience conducting internal reviews of a division or office’s program areas related to risk management supervision, resolution readiness, or deposit insurance to evaluate effectiveness of operations.
Applicants must have met the qualification requirements (including selective placement factors – if any) for this position within 30 calendar days of the closing date of this announcement.

Selectee(s) for this position will be required to report to their duty station office two days per week.
The range of pay shown includes base pay plus supplemental locality adjustments. The locality rates for these duty locations range from a low of 33.41% to a high of 40.07%. Salary reflects a pay cap for this position of $252,500.
