The incumbent serves as a Senior Attorney-Advisor and, at the discretion of the General Counsel and Deputy General Counsel, as the Assistant General Counsel for Administration in the Office of General Counsel, (OGC), Export-Import Bank of the United States ("EXIM"). The Office of the General Counsel is responsible for providing legal guidance to all divisions of the agency on all legal matters, including EXIM's implementation of its statutory mandate.
The incumbent carries out the duties assigned by the General Counsel and Deputy General Counsel and supports the General Counsel and Deputy General Counsel in rendering legal advice throughout EXIM, both orally and in writing, and drafts legal documentation and memoranda, specifically involving significant Administration matters.
The incumbent, as Senior Attorney-Advisor, and subject to the direction of the General Counsel and Deputy General Counsel, leads EXIM OGC's Administration Law Group (ALG).
At the full performance level, duties include, but are not limited to:
Applicants must possess a law degree (J.D.) from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA). Qualifying education must have been obtained from an accredited college or university recognized by the Department of Education.
