The selectee for this position will serve as a Construction Control Representative, responsible for providing program guidance and expertise technical oversight for specific contractor activities, and monitoring construction project progress by inspecting materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with contract.
Major Duties include but are not limited to:
You must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. National.

You are required to maintain a valid state motor vehicle operator's license in order to operate a government-owned or leased truck, SUV, or sedan. Failure to maintain a valid State Driver's License at all times will result in removal from the position.
You may be required to work outside of regular tour of duty with supervisor approval, e.g., credit hours, overtime, etc.
You are required to work up to 12 hours per day Monday through Friday which includes 4 hours of overtime daily for travel to and from the worksite; and required to work overtime on some Saturdays.
There is no substitution of education for experience at the grade level(s) of this announcement.
You may be required to serve an initial probationary period.
Reclamation has determined that the duties of this position are suitable for telework and you may be allowed to telework with supervisory approval.

Permanent Change of Station (PCS) expenses are authorized with the exception of the Guaranteed Home Sale Provision or first-post-of-duty relocation expenses are authorized, as applicable. Work in adverse weather conditions is required. Work involves walking of access and maintenance road embankments, raw and finished water pipeline alignments, descending and climbing ladders to inspect structures that may be in confined spaces such as collector well bottoms and pumps, water treatment plants, variable size steel and concrete distribution tanks, and other specialized projects as part of the regional water system and facilities.
