On a daily basis: cleans, sanitizes and deodorizes bathrooms (sinks, tubs, showers, floors, toilets,
etc) ensuring mat lavatories are properly restocked with all appropriate amenities. Sweeps, dry
mops and cleans floors using brooms, mops and commercial vacuum cleaners, Replaces towels
as needed. Upon checkout, replaces all bed hnens, trash Imers, towels an amen^
washes kitchen utensils, pots and pans. Cleans appliances, defrosts refiigerators, cleans,
waxes/polishes furniture, vacuums, sweeps and mops floors, cleans windows, sills, walls,
woodwork and mirrors and ensures that cabin is ready for occupancy. Washes, dries, sorts, folds
and stores linen. Inventories removed from cabins along with any clean Hnen issued. Prepares
linen report daily and turns into supervisor, ensuring any linen missing from rooms is reported.
Completes cabin status report providing status of all cabins (vacant and ready, check-out,
occupied, etc.) and turns in report at the end of each day. Consistently monitors assigned areas
for problems: e.g. unusual activity, illegal substances in cabins, uriaumorized pets in cabin area,
evidence of smoking buildings. Informs supervisor immediately of any discrepancies any
missing items in cabins (e.g. TV, VCR, clock radio, pots, lamps, etc.) or any valuables left out in
the open by guests(s). Properly bags and tags all lost and found" items with the cabm number
the item was found in and gives bag to the supervisor. Reports all room discrepancies,
equipment malfunctions, damages, customer complaints or maintenance issues immediately to
the supervisor.60%
Cleans common use areas including: lobbies, bathhouses, offices, TV lounges, restrooms,
passages, vending and laundry areas, game rooms and facility entrances including lawn areas.
Sweeps, dry mops, scrubs, strips, waxes and polishes floors using brooms, mops, heavy
commercial-type vacuums, scrubbers, buffers and rug cleaners. Removes stains from a variety
of surfaces such as rugs, walls, floors and fixtures using chemicals and cleaning solutions.
Cleans hard to reach areas such as Venetian blinds, ceiling fixtures, inside and outside windows,
and change light bulbs using approved step/extension ladder. Performs minor maintenance on
cleaning equipment by adjusting, cleaning and oiling, changing brushes, rollers, belts, buffers
and other attachments as necessary. Cleans and disinfects bathrooms and water fountains.
Replaces deodorizers, toilet tissue, hand towels and soap. Immediately reports leaks and/or
broken fixtures. Performs seasonal tasks such as applying ice control materials to entrances of
buildings, shoveling snow, picking up litter around buildings, mowing grass, Weeding and
watering lawns.40%
Performs other related duties as assigned to meet mission requirements.
