As an Engineering Technician (Mechanical), you will serve as a Program Specialist and facilitate complex actions to ensure the implementation of Energy Savings Performance Contract (ESPC) contracts and activities.
Location: General Services Administration (GSA), Public Buildings Service (PBS), National Capital Region (NCR),Office of Facilities Management, Management & Services Programs Division.

The GS-13 salary range starts at $117,962 per year.
To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience utilizing engineering principles, techniques, methods, and precedents to: provide direction and support for Energy Savings Performance Contract (ESPC), project management programs and services related to facility operations and project implementation; interpret and apply energy conservation laws and policies to achieve compliance with Federal, state, and local requirements; identify and implement energy conservation measures; implement energy audits; analyze energy consumption and cost; and develop complex written materials summarizing actions and the status of energy programs for Senior Management.
