Duties

Help
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for managing and coordinating Government Purchase Card (PCard) buys within the office to directly support the NASA Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO).
  • Inputs, processes, and maintains data in organizational systems and databases, ensuring compliance with applicable policies. Creates purchase order logs in the PCard application system and completes monthly reconciliation of bank statements.
  • Drafts, reviews, and distributes official correspondence, reports, and other documents supporting PCard buys made on behalf of the OCIO. Collects and analyzes information to prepare reports, presentations, and summaries for management.
  • Provides assistance to internal and external customers by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, offering guidance and providing status updates on PCard requests.
  • Ensures PCard purchases comply with organizational policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Responds to audit requests from the PCard Agency Program Coordinator or designee.

Qualifications

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.

GS-07: To qualify at the GS-07 level, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 level:

  • Providing general administrative support to customers in the performance of daily duties to include small purchases for supplies and services;
  • Performing data entry and verification of data in systems or databases;
  • Addressing customer or client inquiries, either in person, via email, or over the phone.
