This position is open to current MWR Sea N Air Maintenance staff and Military Spouse Preference only.
1. Operates gas and/or diesel-powered tractor drawn and tractor powered mowing equipment, including back-hoe, front-end loader, fairway mower, rough mower, a gang real mower, off-set counter-balanced rotary mower, aerator, fertilizer spreader and rod cutter on level or rolling terrain.
2. Operates a dump truck and other types of heavy-duty equipment, such as brush hog, rotary mowers, trim mowers, greens mowers, collar mowers, tee mowers, aerators, plows, chippers, diggers, and backhoes needed to do daily maintenance, make special repairs, and to do pruning, trimming or planting.
3. Digs trenches, cleans ditches and removes weeds around buildings, fences, trees, shrubbery, sidewalks, roads and other such locations as required.
4. Makes operational inspections of vehicles for loose parts, damaged or worn tires, proper oil level, battery conditions and similar items. Checks presence and usability of assigned equipment. Cleans assigned vehicles and equipment. Performs work relating to the operation, inspection, minor construction, repair, and maintenance of facility real and personal property, as required.
5. Performs other related duties as assigned.
