At the full performance level (GS-14) the major duties of this position include but are not limited to the following:
1. Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates and sets priorities.
2. Serves as a senior advisor to management and executive leadership on developing and implementing strategic plans in support of achieving the program objectives.
3. Obtains and/or develops models for managing various issues, identifies and resolves issues that are barriers to achieving goals.
4. Plays a key role in the development and implementation of program policies, plans, goals, proposals, processes, and recommendations on issues with cross functional lines.
5. Plans, coordinates, and oversees major initiatives or projects to develop and implement new systems and/or processes that may have Bureau/Department-wide use and implications.
6. Implements performance metrics to manage and monitor the operational efficiencies of the organization, monitors program performance metric outcomes.
7. Implements actions necessary to correct identified problem areas and follows through to ensure adjustments to program plans were made.
Salary Range Information:
GS-14: $135,860-$176,620 per annum
First time hires to the federal government typically start at the beginning salary in the range for their respective grade level.
Financial Disclosure: You will be required to file an Employment and Financial Interest-OGE-450.
Drivers License Requirement: The incumbent is required to obtain and/or maintain a valid state drivers license.
