Duties include but are not limited to:
The Supervisor drives the development and achievement of individual, group and program goals and objectives. The incumbent is responsible for various fund control points assigned to the program. The incumbent manages and controls the use of data related to the program regarding day to day functioning and program evaluations. The incumbent plans, organizes and directs administrative operations and patient and personnel activities for the program.
At the GS-13 supervisory level, the incumbent will manage one of the complex and/or specialized program areas. These may include oversight and development of project-based sites, specialty care provided within HUD-VASH (such as SUDs or Suicide Prevention), VERA tracking, or supervision of the Housing team. Other tasks may be developed and assigned by the HUD-VASH Coordinator.
The incumbent will assist in the identification of qualified MSW candidates for vacant positions; rating of performance appraisals; and ongoing supervision of staff in the HUD-VASH programs.
The incumbent exercises supervisor authorities and responsibilities involving work assignment and review, as well as the administrative and personnel management function relative to the staff supervised.
The incumbent hears and works to resolve employees' complaints. The incumbent provides supervision and consultation to subordinates. The incumbent monitors quality of care and productivity of supervisees and addresses ways to improve. The incumbent may review and approve or disapprove leave requests.

The incumbent represents the Homeless program in the Denver metro community and participates in community-wide homeless planning activities to best serve the needs of veterans.
Additional duties may include: developing policies and procedures; providing data to DSS related to staffing and resource allocation; ensuring compliance with the USPEQ program; monitoring productivity data; providing standards and opportunities for staff to receive continuing education; assuring that staff meet the licensure requirement in a timely manner; representing Homeless in interactions with counterparts, and participating in VISN 19 and medical center committees as assigned.
The incumbent performs other related duties as assigned.
The incumbent complies with criminal conflict of interest laws and Executive Branch Standards of conduct so as to avoid
conflicts of interest while serving as the Manager of Transition and Outreach Programs.
