This position is located at Melvin Price Locks and Dam, adjacent to the National Great Rivers Museum. Melvin Price Locks and dam consists of two lock chambers, one six hundred foot and one twelve hundred foot, and nine one-hundred and ten foot long dam gates. Melvin Price Locks and Dam is one of the highest tonnage lock & dams on the Mississippi river.
