Duties include, but are not limited to:
The incumbent is a member of a data team that explores new technologies and databases, including (but not limited to): VSSC, Pyramid Analytics, CDW (Corporate Data Warehouse), Power BI, TABLO, MAPTITUDE, and AMCMS (which is a new technology created in 2021). Participates in complex projects to apply the technologies in support of Veterans' health care needs. Assignments include complex segments of projects for which the incumbent is independently responsible. Inputs and retrieves data, prepares analyses and presents recommendations to senior specialists, supervisor, or others as may be appropriate.
Participates in assessing data to identify, quantify and resolve organizational problems. Work as part of a team for operations-focus assignments and projects initiated by data analysis or executive leadership. Projects and studies are diverse and intense in nature which requires feedback from subject matter experts or departmental or program offices. Assist with developmental documents which include report preparation from data analysis, project summaries and final recommendations.
