Apply natural resources management principles in various ecosystem types (i.e. restoration, botanical, wetland, and invasive species) to ensure long-term maintenance of environmental quality, enhancement of native species, and biotic diversity.
Make recommendations on natural resources (i.e. range, soil, fire, plant, wetlands, and vegetation management) to modify or mitigate proposed actions to eliminate or minimize impacts to natural resources.
Review proposed organizations actions for potential impacts to sensitive plant and wildlife species and their habitats, sensitive habits and ecosystems, and other sensitive natural resources.
Plan, develop, and implement natural resources/land management studies, rare plant surveys, vegetation classification, vegetation mapping, and habitat restoration projects.
Evaluate impacts of a wide variety of anthropogenic and natural events (e.g. facilities development/maintenance, recreational activities, fire, drought, etc.) in order to provide solutions to habitation restoration plans.
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
