As a Senior Human Resources Specialist, you will serve as a generalist and assist the Branch Chief and the Associate Director for Human Resources Operations and Policy in the implementation of Human Resources (HR) policy and operations specifically with regard to staffing, classification, placement, pay and benefits programs, and employee and labor relations. You will be responsible for performing hands-on operational support plus providing technical direction, guidance, and advice to team members engaged in HR operational work. Duties will be assigned commensurate with the grade level at which selected and include but are not limited to:

FOR GG-13: One year of specialized experience at the GG-12 grade level or equivalent. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE is defined as experience that demonstrates a thorough knowledge of Federal human resources regulations, policies, practices, and procedures and experience in conducting independent human resources advisory services to management and employees in staffing and placement and at least one of the following areas: position classification, employee and labor relations, performance management, and employee benefits including retirement.
FOR GG-14: One year of specialized experience at the GG-13 grade level or equivalent. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE is defined as experience that demonstrates an expert knowledge of Federal human resources regulations, policies, practices, and procedures and experience in conducting independent human resources advisory services to management and employees in staffing and placement and two (2) or more of the following areas: position classification, employee and labor relations, performance management, and employee benefits including retirement.
