The incumbent serves as a Full-Motion Video subject matter expert responsible for analyzing ISR data and producing products in accordance with the PED process, which supports CBP analytical intelligence needs.
The full-motion video analyst will create detailed videos, intelligence products, or still images. They analyze live video feeds to identify security threats and support intelligence services in making crucial decisions. They also use video tools to analyze feeds from various sensors, such as electro-optical and infrared sensors, and communicate this information to components within CBP.
Accesses Commercial imagery libraries for required softcopy imagery. Integrates and fuses all-source multi-sensor data. Applies an extensive knowledge of intelligence, FMV analysis, and research methodologies to develop foreign military unit and equipment databases. Prepares a variety of softcopy FMV products to meet project requirements and loads products on appropriate databases. Provides guidance on FMV techniques and methodologies used in FMV analysis and production.
Exploits Ground Moving Target Indicators (GMTI) from the Vehicle and Dismount Exploitation Radar (VADER). Exploits Full Motion Video imagery collected by ISR sensors and provides hands-on analysis, producing intelligence on a broad range of issues in support of CBP and DHS national security programs, goals, and objectives.
Manages, conducts, and coordinates imagery research and analysis of current and historical imagery in response to internal and external intelligence requirements including imagery from manned platforms, Unmanned Arial Systems FMV, or civil/commercial sensors.
Produces standard and non-standard FMV products, such as motion imagery summary reports and tailored mission-specific products.
Delivers products and participates in operational planning in support of CBP components, joint, or other mission requirements. Compiles/archives products utilizing GXP Xplorer in accordance with organizational standards.
