This position is located at an Air National Guard (ANG) Wing, Mission Support Group, Force Support Squadron. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Force Support Squadron (FSS) Director and to exercise first and second level supervisory and managerial authorities over the FSS, manage the activities of the FSS, Commander Support Staff (CSS) and oversee the planning, direction, and timely execution of high visibility and high impact FSS programs. This PD can only be utilized when the DSG Commander is the full-time technician. The Director of Force Support makes independent technical and executive decisions for the squadron in all areas of functional responsibility. This is an Air National Guard (ANG) Title 32 Technician position requiring military membership, compatible military skill assignment, and classification
Military Grades: Officer only (O-5 and below)
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Experience, education or training in program or managerial experience in a type of work or a combination of functions directly related to the position to be filled or in comparable work or functions and experience developing and recommending policy; organizing and carrying out specific programs, evaluating and recommending changes in methods of operations.
