- Serve as an expert advisor to management concerning the analysis and evaluation of major administrative technical and program aspects of substantive mission-oriented programs.
- Develop, integrate, and help defend the annual Program Objective Memorandum (POM).
- Provide institutional expertise for planning input to the PPBES process.
- Analyze data input, trends, and program inconsistencies considering requirements, policies, and funding. and appropriation constraints and regulations.
- Require an understanding of basic budgetary and financial management principles and techniques as they relate to long range planning of programs and objectives.
