WHO MAY APPLY: All qualified permanent Title 32 National Guard employees who are currently working for the TASMG Shop in Springfield, Missouri.
MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Selected candidate must currently be assigned to a military unit in the Missouri National Guard. Title 32 employees will not be militarily senior to their full-time supervisor (grade inversion).
Maximum Military Grade - CW2 (W-2)
Minimum Military Grade - Enlisted: SSG (E-6)
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must possess experience, education or training which demonstrates your ability to provide technical assistance and organize assignments for subordinates; estimate materials and manpower needed for specific jobs; read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics and technical publications; and maintain records and reports.
WS-12 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess 36 months of specialized experience which demonstrates your ability to plan and organize work assignments directly or through one or more subordinate leaders and/or supervisors. Experience reviewing work requirements and establishing priorities to meet deadlines; knowledge of various lines of work performed by the function and associated support organizations and dealing effectively with other people. Experience supervising through subordinate supervisors, or the potential to perform such duties as evidenced aby the ability to communicate, skill at applying human relations techniques, knowledge of general supervisory concepts, knowledge of shop processes; and adapt existing equipment and techniques to new situations.
