As a Climate Change Coordinator your duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:

Your qualifications will be evaluated on the following competencies (knowledge, skills, abilities and other characteristics):
1.Knowledge of climate change science, such as in the disciplines of earth science, biology and natural resource management, extending to the theory and practice of resource conservation and maintenance of biological diversity sufficient to serve as an expert advisor and to develop/propose climate change science initiatives.
2. Knowledge of the physical, chemical and biological processes (particularly related to fish, wildlife, wildlife biology, wildlife conservation, community ecology, conservation biology, and environmental biology) in regard to climate change science sufficient to recognize the validity of reported science priorities and achievements, to evaluate policy and programs, and to undertake interdisciplinary scientific studies and projects.
3. Ability to effectively identify, communicate, and manage competing priorities for program and policy development, and accomplishment monitoring, as well as for scientific information, technological development, and information dissemination.
4. Ability to build consensus and coalitions amongst leadership and scientists on priority issues and needs involving climate change science.
