This position is in the Edelweiss Lodge and Resort, an AFRC Facility in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Bavarian Alps, Germany.
Prepares and serves food items, including, but not limited to, hot dogs, nachos, chips, candy, lemonade drinks, etc. Keeps work area clean and orderly. Collects sales slips and totals sales on a cash register. Accepts payment from patrons and makes change as necessary. Maintains related cash records. Performs other duties as assigned.

In accordance with the NATO Status of Forces Agreement with Germany, citizens of the host country and citizens of a NATO country not married to an active-duty U.S. military member are not eligible for US NAF employment.
This is a limited tenure position not to exceed 15 months. It is an unaccompanied program because we cannot provide logistical support to family members. Dorm-style housing is provided in lieu of a living quarters allowance. Transportation to and from Germany is provided in accordance with the terms of the Joint Travel Regulation and the executed transportation agreement. Military spouses and family members currently residing within the Garmisch Military Community who apply under this announcement will be considered for a regular appointment.
