Duties:
Responsible for setting up and maintaining a system or specific components of a system (e.g. for example, installing, configuring and updating hardware and software, establishing and managing user accounts, overseeing or conducting backup and recovery tasks, implementing operational and technical security controls, and adhering to organizational security policies and procedures).Analyzes and implements executive level policy changes that impact VA's IT enterprise service architecture and delivery of health care to veterans.
Provides technical guidance to OIT staff to resolve complex and controversial system, software.Develops and monitors meaningful performance metrics used in evaluating the accomplishments of VA IT goals and objectives.
Develops plans, policies, methodologies, and architecture solutions that establish the framework for the management of multiple business lines of IT programs in support of Identifying Management and the delivery of PKI services in an Active Directory environment.
