Performs routine and non-routine material coordination duties for special programs, maintenance, or production shops.
Responsible for local management of decentralized and decontrolled items which requires technical intervention to assure effective supply support and economy. Items are less stable or standardized and not lend themselves to routine control through the use of the computer and variable supply level formulas. Plan requirements, both quantitive and monetary, to satisfy customer needs. Authorizes procurement and is responsible for funds management.
Responsible for limited aspects of storage management. May develop and install local procedures and techniques to achieve and maintain smooth, effective, and coordination storage operations.
Process DIFM returns and act as the primary return processing point for stock record accounts B and E. Will support organizations not covered by IMDS, review repair cycle data semi-annually, and coordinate the disposition of unserviceable condition code "F" DIFM items through AFMC. Responsibilities include managing TCTOs, ensuring compliance with AFI 21-101, requisitioning TCTO kits, and maintaining accurate status updates and documentation for all TCTO-related activities.
Will coordinate maintenance and material management actions, manage supply transactions, monitor repair cycle assets, and resolve support problems, reporting aircraft parts status to maintenance supervision. Will review and validate part status, advise maintenance leadership on supply issues, identify supply-related training needs, and develop a NRTS list. Will monitor backorder requisitions, assist with AF Government Purchase Card (GPC) purchases, reconcile IMDS and ILS-S records, and ensure proper documentation for reparable assets. You will manage parts ordering, the reusable container program, TNB assets, and validate requisitions to support efficient logistics operations.
Will review and validate part status using the Daily Document Register (D04), Priority Monitor Report (D18), and the Monthly Due-Out Validation Listing (M30). Advising maintenance leadership on supply support problems and recommending corrective actions will be crucial aspects of your role. Will identify supply-related training needs, coordinate with maintenance work centers to develop a NRTS list, and ensure repair work centers are correctly loaded on the repair cycle record.
Will review the Receiving listing to identify claims receivable details from shipped short receipts. This includes processing Supply Discrepancy Reports (SDRs) for details exceeding $100, with mandatory reporting for controlled material and higher-value claims. TAR inputs will be processed to update relevant dates, indicating SDR submission. Shipments under $100 will be flagged for deletion, and DFAS will automatically remove these records.
Will manage SDR follow-ups according to specified guidelines. Updates will be made through TAR inputs. Items under $100 will be designated for deletion by the Customer.
Responsible for creating and maintaining organizational bench stock records and bin labels. Ensure bench stock management products are available, support routine and urgent replenishment requests, and deliver bench stock assets to on-base customers. Support, while all classified items will require follow-up, ensuring efficient resolution of discrepancies.
Ensure document control support for assigned accounts, authorize the use of stamps for signatures, manage inventories for transferred kits, and maintain receipt authorizations for classified and NWRM property. Handle documentation and compliance for non-fileable documents and Forced Record Alteration Change documents.
Store and manage supply and equipment items, including classified and sensitive items. Select items for issue, shipment, or transfer, conduct warehouse validations, and maintain central locator functions. Operate centralized on-base issue, storage, and return intake point for Class II items.
Manage the storage, inventory, inspection, and issue of mobility bags, small arms/light weapons, and Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear IPE, and IBA. Ensure accuracy of materiel management IT system records and provide support as specified in the Emergency Management Program including working the "DDL" Delinquent Document Listing.
Performs other duties as assigned.
