The panel of subject matter experts will review your application and evaluate your qualifications for this position based on the information in your application. Your application will be rated based on the extent and quality of your experience, education, and training relevant to the duties of this position. The panel discusses each application and reaches a consensus on the 'Best Qualified,' 'Well Qualified,' or 'Qualified' candidates.
3. Referral: Only the individuals in the Best Qualified category will be referred to the Hiring Manager/Selection Official for consideration and possible interview. The FEMA Executive Resources Board (ERB) will review results and make recommendations on final selections to the appointing authority, where final interviews and reference checks may occur. All information concerning qualifications is subject to investigation. You should expect that we will verify performance, suitability, and security information and consider that information in making employment offers.
