An undergraduate degree from an accredited college/university is mandatory. The degree must be in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services with desired courses in Computer Engineering; Engineering Physics/Applied Physics; Industrial Engineering; Electromechanical Engineering; Electrical, Electronics and Communications; Computer Technology/Computer Systems Technology; Cyber/Electronics Operations and Warfare; Mathematics and Computer Science; Accounting and Computer Science; Computational Science; and Management Information Systems; or Mathematics. A graduate degree in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services is optimum.
Prior to appointment, the incumbent must be certified IAW DOD 8570.01-M, Federal Information Security Management Act of 2002, Clinger Cohen Act of 1996 and obtain Special Experience Identifier (SEI) 264, Information Assurance - Technical Level II (IAT II), IAW current AF directives.
