The Community Resource and Referral Center (CRRC) Senior Social Worker is assigned to administrative responsibility for clinical program development and is accountable for clinical program effectiveness and modification of service patterns. CRRCs provide Veterans who are homeless and at-risk of homelessness with one-stop access to community-based, multiagency services to promote permanent housing, health and mental health care, career development and access to VA and non-VA benefits. CRRC Senior Social Workers typically practice social work in a major specialty treatment program area, such as Homeless services, Housing, and community outreach. They may be assigned to work with special patient populations with highly complex health or mental health problems.
