The Integrated Resources Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the natural and cultural resource division at Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park. The park maintains a suite of historic buildings in various stages of rehabilitation, some of which are leased properties; modern buildings; several trails including the iconic Chilkoot National Historic Trail; a historic town site; a camping area; and some green spaces.
This position provides management expertise and support to the superintendent and other division managers in all aspects of resource management to include, but not limited to: historic buildings and structures; National Historic Landmarks; biological resources; archeological resources; museum management, project planning and PMIS, and tribal consultation.
The incumbent ensures coordination of all routine and special project work between branches and provides divisional long-range planning and budget development, plans special projects, and oversees the park's compliance programs to ensure compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act and National Historic Preservation Act.
The position serves as a member of the park's management team. The incumbent is actively involved in decisions affecting overall park management policy and operations and contributes to the development and implementation of park management documents. Monitors and evaluates programs and operations to ensure compliance with, and application of, approved management direction.
