This is a full-time term appointment in the excepted service not to exceed 3 years. Appointment may be extended in one- to five-year increments thereafter. Qualification Requirements:
Degree: behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position; or Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field; or Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrates the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.

How You Will Be Evaluated: Once the announcement has closed, a selection committee will review and screen application packages (résumé, supporting documents, and responses to the questionnaire). The committee will invite a select pool of applicants for subsequent in-person interviews. Following this interview the applicant will provide a job talk to War College faculty. Following the interview and job talk, the War College provost will make a hiring decision. Historically, this process may take several months after the closing date of the job announcement.
