As a Sexual Assault Prevention & Response Specialist (VICT ADV), GS-0101-11, you will serve as the Joint Force Headquarters (JFHQ)-State Sexual Assault Response Specialist (Victim Advocate), located at the 105th AW for the military, civilians, and dependents. Providing 24/7 in-person and telephonic response, the incumbent under the supervision of the Sexual Assault Response Officer (State SAPR). The incumbent serves as the Domestic Abuse Victim Advocate (DAVA) providing assistance and advocacy for victims of spousal/intimate partner abuse, non-offensive parents/caregivers and victims of child abuse. This position will serve as facilitator to JFHQ-State personnel regarding victim of domestic violence and child abuse appropriate responses.

Additional Conditions of Employment:
This position is designated as Essential Personnel and may be subject to duty in preparation for, or in response to, a state emergency or disaster declaration. This designation will not exceed 14 calendar days per year unless otherwise approved in advance by the TAG.
Joint/ANG/ARNG SARC/VA positions security requirements are listed in the Joint/ANG/ARNG SARC/VA Position Guidance for Title 5 & Title 32 positions only section above. For all other positions requiring a security clearance (Secret or Top Secret) the applicant must possess or be able to obtain a clearance within one year of appointment.
Follow DoDI 6495.03 pre-screening requirements of applicable personnel. Pre-screening requirements must be met prior to ordering a minimum Tier 3 background investigation as defined in the federal investigative standards implementation plan. Personnel may proceed with obtaining certification once pre-screening requirements have been met and no adverse information or disqualifying conditions were found. Applicable personnel include the following:
(1) Newly appointed SARCs, SAPR VAs and SAPR PMs.
(2) Incumbents or applicants without a minimum Tier 3 background investigation. (Note: Incumbents or applicants will comply with pre-screening requirements in DoDI 6495.03 when seeking D-SAACP renewal, to include a minimum Tier 3 background investigation and State Criminal History Repository (SCHR) check).
(3) Personnel with a current minimum Tier 3 investigation. (Note: Personnel with a current Tier 3 are not required to re-submit to a Tier 3 investigation, but they must have the SCHR check and comply with pre-screening requirements if they are not yet entered in CE).
Conditional Disqualifiers:
The hired SAPR Professionals cannot have any automatic disqualifying conditions per DoDI 6495.03, Section 3.2a.1-
Conditions of Employment:
Condition 1: The SAPR Professional is required to obtain within 60 days of appointment to a Position of Trust and Moderate Risk; the employee must have a favorable completion and award of a Tier 3 background investigation as directed by DoD and NGB to conduct duties and responsibilities as a SAPR Professional.
Condition 2: Within 90 days of appointment as a National Guard SAPR Professional, even if currently D-SAACP certified, the newly appointed employee will be required to complete the NGB Joint Course.
Condition 3: Within 120 days of appointment, unless previously D-SAACP certified, the newly appointed SAPR Professional will be required submit the DD Form 2950, must be submitted by the next D-SAACP review board. Condition 4: Required to obtain and maintain D-SAACP certification and maintain certification through meeting annual continuing education training requirements.
