The OKC VA Healthcare System, Pathology and Laboratory Service, is currently recruiting for one (1) Supervisory Medical Technologist. The primary area of responsibility is the Hematology section but will be required to have knowledge of other areas to cover supervisory absences.

Serves as a Department Supervisor for a Laboratory section of the Pathology and Laboratory Medicine (P&LMS), reporting to the Laboratory Manager and must be a Medical Technologist able to work independently and manage multiple assignments in an efficient and accurate manner.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
These assignments require specialized training and experience. Employees must have advanced knowledge of specialized and complex subject matter extending beyond the duties of test performance. They have wide latitude for exercising independent judgment. For all assignments above the full performance level, the higher-level duties must consist of significant scope, complexity (difficulty), and range of variety.
