The ideal candidate for this position is a senior level professional who functions independently and demonstrates leadership in team environments and/or managing people. The ideal candidate also has strong analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills to advance an organization/agency mission in an entrepreneurial, fee-for-service business environment. Experience in analyzing and providing recommendations for improvement of transportation policy and an ability to meet organizational goals is desirable.

Safety Research and Analysis Division: This division supports projects/work related to conducting research and data analysis to inform safety-based decision making.

State Safety Program Support Division: This division supports projects/work related to designing and developing processes and tools to support federal oversight of State Safety Programs, including grant management and oversight support.
