The Regional Director represents the National Capital Region and manages the following programs within the Region: Business Operations; Communications and Community Engagement; Facilities, Design, and Construction; Lands and Planning; Protection Operations; Resource Stewardship and Science; and Workforce and Technology. Programs managed not only have a local impact, but they also carry national and international recognition and responsibility. Other responsibilities include:
