This position is located in Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Office of Inspector General (OIG), Office of Audit (OA) in Washington, D.C. The incumbent serves as the Deputy Assistant Inspector General for Office of Audit (DAIGA) reports directly to the Assistant Inspector General for Audit (AIGA) and acts for this official in his/her absence with full authority over the Office of Audit.
The DAIGA serves as a key partner and close advisor to the AIGA on all audit matters and activities required by the IG Act. In this capacity, the DAIGA will:

This is a Public Trust Position. Employment in this position requires a background investigation. MTQ 2 - Demonstrated ability to oversee and coordinate the activities of numerous project teams simultaneously to ensure the development of high-quality work products that are in conformance with professional standards; developed timely; contribute to organizational goals; and are responsive to the needs of stakeholders.
MTQ 3 - Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with high level officials; and to work constructively with individuals with different viewpoints, goals, or objectives to enhance the effectiveness of an oversight program for a large organization.
This position does not have a mandatory education requirement.
