This position is part of the National Archives and Records Administration serving as the Director of the Records Management Training Program within the Office of the Chief Records Officer. Incumbent provides program administration, management, and leadership to develop and deliver an effective and engaging nationwide, integrated program of records management training for federal agencies. As a TRAINING ADMINISTRATOR, you will:
The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized experience for GS-15: To qualify, you must have one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 level in the Federal service. For this position, specialized experience is defined as:
- Designing and developing training or instructional materials based on expertise in adult learning principles, federal policy, needs assessments, and emerging instructional technologies; AND
- Providing technical advice, guidance, or recommendations to others about federal records/information management principles, concepts, practices and methods; AND
- Managing, directing, and overseeing the work of a unit, including with and through subordinate supervisors; AND
- Serving as a first-line supervisor responsible for managing employee performance.
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable (as defined in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F):
For the GS-15, you must have been at the GS-14 level for 52 weeks.
