About the position: This position will be assigned to the Outdoor Recreation Facility.

Under the direction of the Leisure and Recreation Program Chief or next level supervisor, executes the day to day operation of the Manatee Cove FamCamp and recreational lodging facilities. Responsible for budgets and accurately forecasting recapitalization. Utilizes RecTrac or other government provided computer software for point of sales systems for both the FamCamp and recreational lodging. Assigns tasks and relays directions to on duty staff, and explains requirements, methods and procedures to properly accomplish assigned tasks. Serves as the retail agent for the FamCamp and recreation lodging by completing customer sales, reservations, and performing a full range of cash management and accountability duties to include processing cash, check and credit card payments. Accepts payment for a variety of equipment items, facilities, classes and programmed special events. Accurately enters data into Air Force financial data software such as NAFRIS NAFDIS and IBPS. Maintains and administers accurate waiting lists. Generates daily usage and facility availability reports. Develops and executes a comprehensive maintenance plan. Performs regular inspections of facilities, grounds and equipment in order to assess the facility condition. Identifies repairs and submits timely work request for any deficiencies. Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the facilities. Answers telephone calls and receives visitors supplying requested information for own knowledge or refers caller to appropriate sources. Informs customers of the FamCamp and recreational lodging policies, rules and procedures and enforces the rules accordingly. Mails out conformation packages for all recreational lodging reservations in a timely manner. Demonstrates and sells retail merchandise directly to customers. Develops a compressive social calendar of events for the FamCamp. Recruits volunteers to assist with the setup, facilitation, and cleanup of social events. Decorates and arranges display area for FamCamp resale merchandise, establishes sales promotions and informs supervisor concerning status of product sales and promotions. Conducts inventory and develops sales mix that consistently meets established cost of sales goals. Provides quality customer service. May train lower graded personnel or volunteers on operation of the FamCamp and recreational lodging. Serves as the HAZCOM and EMIS representative for the operation. Operates assigned vehicles as required or directed. Performs other duties as assigned.
