As the Executive Officer, the successful candidate is responsible for delivering superb services to the Division's staff while ensuring that the Division fully complies with all the relevant laws, rules, and regulation related to human resources, budget, procurement, information technology, and other administrative matters.
The Executive Officer will plan and direct Division administrative and organizational functions in the following areas - development and utilization of human resources; management of budget; accounting; internal controls and financial audit procedures, and procurement functions; provision of litigation and contractor support services; protection of personnel, facilities, and classified information; direction of space and related logistical functions; automated office support; information technology and information resources management; and telecommunication, correspondence and records management.
With the areas of responsibility, the Executive Officer will develop and recommend Division policies and procedures designed to ensure that the Division's mission is supported to the greatest extent possible while ensuring the Division complies with all applicable Department policies, laws, rules, and regulations, provide advice and guidance, and assistance on implementation of policies and procedures to Division managers.
